You fall over me like 

a summer's rain

Your body starts gentle 

in a light manner

Lightly saturating my skin
and my senses

I can smell your aroma

the way i can smell the wet earth

Your words and breath soothing

like the patter of rain drops

Your eyes have gone dark
like the bark of a tree

Your moans and groan are thunder

low and rolling in my ear

And as our time comes to an end 

 you are quick and hard as the rain falls

And suddenly you stop

just as the rain has

Now i am cocooned in the silence

of the aftermath

Being scared 

is a part of life

but being so scared 

or life

is more than fear 

it is 

Terror

Terror is what i felt today

But i felt the pain

and i saw 

the blood

and sighed in relief.
